The Bank balances of the JPK project to April 2008 stand at £357,019.34.This increase over the last three months is due to the tremendous support we are receiving from the local community at large and our own fundraising efforts plus pledges of £172,500.

A special mention must be made of the Benefice of East Dean, Friston and Jevington who hosted seven Lenten Lunches in aid of the JPK Project. Many thanks to all who attended to support us.

Total funds to purchase and for the Planning application to date; £529,519.34

It will be noted that there is still a large deficit due in part to the increase in costs for the application. However, we have several months to raise the additional funds as it is thought that the completion of the processes will take until early July. Fundraising will be an ongoing and major priority as we shall, in addition, need to establish a fund for the commencement of the building works.
