Council Pledges Support to JPK Project
A charity whose aim is to build a residential centre for people with a learning disability has received a £1,000 donation from its local council. Willingdon and Jevington Parish Council agreed to give its ongoing support to the JPK Project and give the group £1,000 for each of the next four years.Cllr Tony Seabrook, Chairman, Cllr Andy Watkins and Cllr Bob Hillman, Vice Chairman, presented the cheque to Jill who said, ” I am extremely grateful for this wonderful donation and your support in future years. It is very encouraging to have the support of the local council”.
